We are from Telford in Shropshire , whilst attending a bmx race at Alvaston Park in Derby my son had a bad crash ending in a head injury We were bought into the Childrens A&E dept via ambulance, i cant thank the nurses and doctors enough My son had a Ct scan and various xrays which were all done very quickly and with minimul fuss The nursing staff not only cared for my son but made sure that i was ok as i was very distressed and worried, the doctor that cared for my son took the time to speak to me and explain exactly what was happening Thankfully he had the all clear so we were able to bring him home some hours later Once again a huge thank you to the department
