"Nothing. The staff are rude and ..."

About: Manor Hospital

(as a relative),

What I liked

Nothing. The staff are rude and very blunt. They don't know what they are doing and do not keep a sufficient eye on elderly patients.

What could be improved

Everything! Staff politeness for a start. immediate and correct medical treatment for the patient if they are seriously/life threateningly ill. They need to pull their socks up so to speak. There is no doctor on ward in the evenings.

Anything else?

The control of bacteria and viruses going around the hospital need to be controlled and wiped out - insufficient cleaning on the wards.

I’m very disappointed by this account of care at the Manor Hospital.

Keeping the hospital clean is also a high priority for us, and you’ll be pleased to know that we’ve increased the cleaning on wards and patient areas, and have also launched a hand hygiene campaign ‘Give infection the Elbow’ campaign to raise awareness of the importance of hand-washing for everyone in the hospital.
