"Excellent A&E facility"

I was extremely impressed with the care and attention I received in A&E late on Sunday night/Monday morning. Yes I had to wait at times but as I was experiencing chest pain I was triaged fairly and from then on in the care was superb. The nurses were friendly and reassuring. Recommended care was thoroughly explained and my consent sought. Pain relief was provided and the examination and tests undertaken were very thorough. I was sedated and put on an observation ward where my husband was also looked after being provided refreshments. The area I was in was very clean and comfortable and I can't thank the staff enough for looking after me so well.
