What could be improved

Availability of facilities for diagnosis out of 9-5 hours.

A little more communication to expain what the doctors were thinking the symptoms were pointing to and what the next steps were.

The main problem was the behavior of a number of staff on the Beaumont Ward, both nurses and care assistants. Their attitude was short, rude, disrespectful, unsympathetic and unpleasant. They displayed little patience and some clearly resented helping patients clearly in need. My condition did not seem to be understood, or was assumed to be much better than it was known to be by the doctors. I was made to feel like I was not worthy of their care.
