What I liked
It's basically a fine hospital. We've attended several times over the years with a variety of kids' ailments, broken bones etc, and have been treated consistently well.
What could be improved
My 14 yr old son and I attended recently on a Sunday afternoon. He had non-urgent facial injury that was worthy of further investigation. Triage as ever was fine and good humoured. We were then directed to sit in the children's area.
Nearly 3.5 hours later, we were still there.
Medics who eventually saw him were excellent. But there is really no reason to expect people to wait for so long without some sort of explanation. This area of patient care must be improved - and quickly.
