"Dislocated thumb"

About: Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford)

Having dislocated my thumb and not arriving until 45 mins later. I was quickly processed I didn't edit more than 2 mins before being seen by nurse. The nurse gave me painkillers and then I was whisked to see the doctor. The nurse gave me gas and air whilst I broke down emotionally. (Embarrassing). They both were very kind and caring. Thumb back in it was strapped, again efficient. X Ray. Again efficient and professional. Back to see doctor. Who referred me to outpatient for ligament assessment. Service and care were outstanding. I can't say enough positive things here!! Bless you all
