"Patient falls"

My father is currently in the Alexandra hospital, I am very concerned for his safety as he has already had 3 falls in 3 weeks and suffered a broken hip, cuts and bruises, surely something can be done to prevent this from happening. I am very anxious and concerned, and get no positive response from the staff as to what can be done to reduce the risk of it happening again.
