"out of hour gp"

About: Queen Elizabeth Hospital (London)

I took my 18 month son to the out of hours gp on 2/8/2014. The facility was easy to find and staff at counter where polite. My husban took in a walk befire he was called and there was thing to see and do, as with previous out of hours you wait for ages. However he was seen by a nurse within 5 minutes and gp within 10. The nurse was polite and professional and child friendly. The gp was understanding and listed to what was wrong with him. They gave him a thorough examination and spoke to him and made him relax. The service was great and I wouldn't hesitate in telling any one to use the facility.

Thank you for the great comment about the Children's Emergency Department at the Queen Elizabeth hospital. We have worked hard to improve the service and provide an area that is both fun and suitable for children of all ages. All the nursing staff are children's trained and everyone tries hard to make each child's experience as good as possible.
