"Security very Amatuer and intrusive"

About: Medway Maritime Hospital

My only Negative to my Stay was front of house security! I was in Nelson ward on a couple off hot days, and Senior sister made decision to open fire doors to let fresh air in due to lack of fans for the health of Patients. Within minutes two security arrived(Jobs Worth's) and closed the doors going on about people getting in. This happened several times in one afternoon. we are all as individuals responsible for our own health and safety No Security Officer should have the power over a nurse on Patient welfare. If Security is an Issue then move yourself away from the Front desk, set up security Booths on the back road either end of the back of Hospital and monitor the comings and goings of people entering, rather than loitering the front at the hospital.

Thank you very much for your comments and we are sorry that you found the behaviour of our security guards intrusive. We value patient feedback as it provides us with an opportunity to improve the areas where we could do better. We will ensure that your comments are passed onto the security manager so that he can discuss them with his team.
