"Birth Center was fabulous!"

I had a fabulous widwife with me whilst I had my daughter in the birthing Center. I had a water birth and got my antibiotics almost as soon as I got there for my strep b infection. I could not fault them, they were fantastic. The only flaw was after I had my daughter and got moved upstairs onto the maternity ward. The staff let with me no word of what would happen. The doctor was stretched thin and I had to wait 12 hours to be discharged, the ward was okay, but the shower was broken and the bathroom was a mess. I was left alone with no one to watch my new baby and I could not go anywhere. Eventually at lunch time they came round with a jug of water.
