"What a lovely team!"

About: The Maidstone Hospital

I was recently referred to The Peggy Wood Breast Care clinic and though hard to find, when we were there and even before the appointment, I have nothing but praise for all the staff we had contact with! I suffer with quite extreme general anxiety and panic attacks and called the clinic before hand to let them know and to ask a few questions - they were calm and reassuring and said that they would do all they could to help and they truly did everything and more! I was a total mess on the day and the staff were amazing and I would really like to pass on my thanks to them all. I am extremely lucky that my issue turned out to be just a scare and I feel silly for feeling so afraid now but no one made me feel that way when I was there and I was given great advice for keeping a check on things in the future. At such a scary time, this is exactly the kind of team of ladies and gents you want behind you - thank you again to the Peggy Wood team!

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback on your visit to the Peggy Wood Breast Care Centre. We were very pleased to learn that you felt so supported by the staff at what was an understandably worrying time for you. Your kind comments have been shared with the team. We note that you found the centre hard to find and so have also alerted our facilities team and asked them to review the signage in place as part of their regular reappraisal of services. Kind regards, The PALS Team.
