The nursing staff & medical staff were all approachable & informative to our brother & his siblings. As visitors we were made welcome & able to stay with our terminally ill and acutely unwell brother 24/7. The nursing staff approached our brother with dignity and respect. We were impressed with the personal care of how our brother on his first morning was assisted in being shaved and showered. Reviews by the medical team and palliative care team were prompt and advice and information obtained from neurology by the ward team were also efficient with our brother and family kept up to date. I was disappointed when I visited on his second day in that he had moved to another ward, although understood this was needed. An excellent person centered experience during a traumatic time. Thank you Acute Ward A.
