"The worst hospital I ever been, poor management,..."

About: Queen Elizabeth Hospital (London)

I visit this hospital about two weeks ago.I was very sick, I faint at work, my blood pressure was very high, I was vomiting badly, my heart was beating in high rate..I went to emergency department. I wait in waiting area for nurse for 20 minutes, for junior doctor about two hours. My blood test didn't show good results, same ECG,so they decide to keep me for other blood tests and for to see more senior doctor. I had to wait 5 hours in emergency department to be move to Clinical Decision Unit where I wait another 6 hours in slightly more comfortable chairs. I didn't have any explanation what happened and what they find in my blood. The last doctor I spoke was the Junior doctor at 5 p.m and after I had to wait till 7 o clock in the morning when another very young junior doctor came. The night in Decision unit was terrible. I had one lady opposite me who poo and wee in the bed, none want to clean her bed whole night, they occasionally spray it. Other old ladies were moaning for poor service. There was no way to have a little bit of relax. The smell was sickening and there was arguments with old ladies and nurse. I seen few people whole night sleeping on the chair. I believe you will find better hospitals in Africa. There was one doctor who visit our unit before midnight and their dress code was distracting. My friend had to ask one of the nurse if they are really a doctor and they said yes they are a doctor. Do we really need such a doctor in those clothes? Is disrespectful for patients. We came here in pain, ill, looking for help and we get this look. Where was the doctor when I was lying sick, with high heart beat, high blood pressure, dizzy..in room with poo smell and crying patients? Where were they? None visit me since 5 o clock afternoon. I didn't know what is wrong, I was anxious, terrified..Do we need such a doctors? No.. We need someone who have eyes for helping people, caring person, caring doctors..I wasn't offer once glass of water, neither other old ladies..I was there for all together for 20 hours without water. After this visit I was vomiting for other 2 days, I had bad headaches for whole week and I decide to book tickets for to be checked at home. I am shocked what I experienced in this hospital. Please change the management.
