About: Arriva Transport Solutions Limited Northern General Hospital

(as the patient),

Arriva ambulance service made us wait over 7 hours to go home after I was discharged from northern general the whole experience is very uncaring and nasty

They just don't care getting put in an ambulance with staff who have not got a clue were we live- did a 15 mile trip around Sheffield when I live 3 miles away

It's a very bad service

I am very sorry to hear about your experience of using our patient transport service - it sounds very frustrating. Please could I ask you to send further details of your complaint to our patient experience team at patientexperience@arriva.co.uk so that they can undertake a thorough investigation into why you had such a long wait and what issues arose regarding taking you home directly.

I was very sorry to hear about your concerns. Please note that Arriva are a seperate organisation from the Trust and although we work in very close in partnership with Arriva we are unable to comment on the specific case that you have posted on Patient Opinion.
