"Uninterested GP"

I have several medical conditions, including having had a stroke, and I do not have any confidence in my GP. My GP doesn’t seem to have any interest in what I have to say and has very poor bedside manner. When I asked how I would be able to get a certain piece of equipment to help me at home I was told you don’t need that, you’re fine, you’re healthy, which is certainly not the case! In addition, it is almost impossible to get an appointment at the practice and so I am thinking of moving to a GP elsewhere.
