My husband attended Emergency department over a week ago. I went with him to look after him. Once it came to take blood for a blood test I informed the nurse that he may faint as he is petrified of taking a blood due to bad experience in his childhood. The nurse ignored it and smiled sarcastically. When they were taking blood, they saw that my husband was starting to weaken and faint and they just went away! I shouted to the group of nurses if someone can help me but was not heard at first time, because they were involved too much with listening the story about their colleague’s son. I shouted a little louder and finally one of nurses come to check if everything is ok. I had to ask for a water for my husband myself and move the fan to his direction. I was just disgusted with the service they provided. I know that taking blood is not a complicated and dangerous procedure, but after telling the nurse that my husband may faint, we just expected a little more attention and care, especially that my husband went to the hospital because of heart and chest paints! Disgrace.
