"Standard letters."

About: The Westbourne Centre

I was sent what turned out to be a standard letter, where a letter relating to my treatment should have been sent. I was told that I would not be able to drive for 24hrs and that I should be accompanied. I had to take 2 days holiday as my treatment was early afternoon, my wife accompanied me so she lost half a day's work. I had to get a taxi there and back, £50:00. I enquired about this on my follow up appointment and was informed that I could have driven there and back and could have gone straight back to work. This cost me almost £280:00 which I could ill afford. I think your system needs updating.

Thank you for your feedback. We're really sorry that we didn't meet expectations on this occasion. Your feedback has been taken on board and we have since produced multiple letter templates for different types of treatments; hopefully we'll be able to avoid this confusion in the future.
