"After having a C-section my body ..."

About: Birmingham Women's Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked After having a C-section my body was in pain I couldn't hold my daughter or get stable to my feet, able to meet my visitors that had come, my confidence was wearing thin. Being on Ward 4 at the hospital I had around the clock care the staff were constantly keeping an eye, not just me but all 4of us ladies that were in a room as well as keeping tabs on our pain killers when to give us them. the mtdwifes showed good team work with other staff they gave us moms sound advice without making us feel low. They worked with us to solve any worries we had. I left the hospital after 5 days of being there and was then re-admitted by my super community midwife i then went back on the same ward to be comforted by the team to solve the problem. It has been a stressful experience in itself having a baby but the care has been Grand, THANK YOU.
