"Mean spirited staff. especially to elderly"

About: North Tyneside General Hospital

the staff spend most of the time doing one job not finishing it starting another forgetting they have left patient.then getting cross with patient.Breakfast for said patient is busy. You can only have serial or bread and jam.tea or coffee,given to you with disdain but at the same time you have you obs done and you have to order lunch by the television phone, and answer the questions quickly all this wen your poorly, hungry and eating rubbish. Oh,I could go on the thing is no one cares about the patient.the staff only care about themselves.

Dear Sir / Madam, Many thanks for sharing this with us - I hope you understand why I am coming back to you immediately. Your review is very worrying to read - I have never heard our respiratory team described in this way and clearly something has gone very wrong for you to feel that no one cares about the patient. I am very sorry that this is your experience of the ward and our hospital. Your review is anonymous but I would be very grateful if you would contact me urgently - if you are still in hospital we need to act immediately to ensure you get the support you need.
