I am 69 years old and disabled. I visited A&E on 11/7/2015 following a GP call for an ambulance. I had strong abdominal pain, and was diagnosed at the hospital with hernia in three places. I was told that I need an operation, but I have to wait my turn in the waiting list. I told them that I have strong pain and I cant move and they should do the operation immediately. However, I was discharged the following day. Later I was back in the A&E twice within few days due to the strong pain, and yet again after doing the necessary test I was discharged. Surely, it would require more resources to see a patient several times at A&E than to operate sooner. I now having pain in the stomach, back and the chest, and I have nobody to turn to. My GP has already written to hospital, but it has made no difference. I await your assistance in this matter.
