"Gynaecology"

This week I spent 24 hours at the Beaumont having a prolapse repair. Under the NHS Choose & Book scheme I was able to take advantage of the excellent care and expertise of my consultant. Throughout my short stay I was treated with great care, kindness and respect by all the staff I met - reception staff, porters, nurses, catering team , anaesthetist and surgeon. Everything was explained and all staff were very diligent in checking information prior to surgery and discharge. It was most reassuring to receive a call the day after I came home to check all was well. The standard of cleanliness was excellent, as was the food and the room. Thanks to all of you. How I wish my local hospital could get close to these high standards.
