What I liked

I was due to attend the day case unit and theatre in April 2009. Previous to this i had been a victim of drug induced rape. I have a child who is 12 and a partner of 4 years who i love 100%. I was raped by 2 or possibly 3 people which obviosly had a massive impact on our lives. I had to try and get back to normal asap to keep me sain and keep my family together. I went for my surgery and felt very aprehensive and quite nervous. To be honest i was an insecure mess! The staff at the day case unit, one sister in particular provided me with the most professional, sensitive, supportive service you could have ever imagined. I contacted the Chief Executive to pass on my personal thanks to all the staff including thetre staff who made my time there as comfortable as possible. I would recomend any one to go to the day case unit at Russels Hall Hospital as the service was outstanding. There was not one thing that i could fault. Many people are so quick to complain about services provided to the public, but in my opinion, not enough people take the time to compliment members of staff who offer an excellent service. No words can express how grateful i am for the respect i recieved that day.
