"The consultant's professional ..."

About: Russells Hall Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

The consultant's professional approach - he involved me in the decision making about which treatment I was going to undertake and gave me the confidence that I had made the right decision.(to have a hysterectomy) Around the time of the operation he was informative and efficient but at the same time seemed very caring. I was pleased with most of the care from the nurses - although very busy they still took the time to be cheerful and kind.

What could be improved

After care - I had to go back to the hospital three times to have anti-clotting injections - it would have been preferable to have them at my local GPs.
