Response from Eastbourne District General Hospital

We are very concerned to read your posting on NHS choices about your son's visit to the A&E department. As a trust, we aim to provide high quality care to all patients, however, this is clearly far from what you describe in your experience. We take all comments very seriously, particularly where issues are raised. We would therefore like an opportunity to look into what happened in more detail and apologise in person for the fact that you and your son's experience was poor. If you would like to do this please contact our Patient Advice & Liaison Service (PALS) on 01323 435886 or by email at esh-tr.PALSE@nhs.net. In the meantime, we will ensure your posting is shared with the Head of Nursing for Urgent Care to act upon. Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your experience. We sincerely hope that you feel able to make contact.
