"Disgusting process and staff and hospital"

About: University Hospital Of North Tees

My Dad was admitted 6 days ago and after enduring 5 hours in A and E dispute being admitted by ambulance, the same checks were performed and despite my dad being very confused and scared we still had to sit with the drunks who were prioritised over and elderly person who was clearly very poorly. After leaving the hospital at 4am we were told he would be moved to a ward and we would need to call in the morning to find out which one. We returned and managed to locate him the next day after dealing with very unhelpful staff who clearly did not want to work a weekend. any I will run out of text if I continue but we are now almost a week on and despite having all test results from scans and knowing that he has two brain tumours we are told that nothing will happen until next Wednesday when a meeting will happen to decide next steps! Wow fantastic another 6 days to wait despite knowing the results! The only way we found this out was by complaining to staff as absolutely no update was given to us proactively, we had to complain as when asked normally the staff said that they didn't know and would need to ask a doctor but guess heat non were available! Ward 24 utterly disgusting, my dad gets worse every day and no one gives a stuff
