"Highly recommended birth centre"

About: The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (King's Lynn)

Had a water birth here in May and the care exceeded my expectations. The midwife that supported me during labor was fantastic, all other staff was very helpful and supportive at all times, had a great post partum care as well, without their support not sure if I would have managed to get hold of breastfeeding as my baby refused to latch for the first 24 hours. There was always someone checking if I was fine throughout the day and night and that was reassuring. Community midwives and general prenatal care were very good as well. Thanks to all the team!

Thank you for posting your comments about your recent experience with our maternity services. It is very reassuring to hear that your whole experience was so positive before, during and after your baby’s birth. I am very pleased to hear that you were provided with the support you needed to breastfeed your baby and that you were provided with reassurance both day and night. I will ensure your comments are shared with our maternity teams and the staff on the ward as I know that they will be pleased to be appreciated.
