"Gynae surgery - Birchington Ward"

About: Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Hospital

Spent 12 days on Birchington Ward following complex gynae surgery and could not fault the commitment and professionalism of all the staff - from the surgical/anaesthesia team, the HDU team, the ward staff and all the additional services (physio, phlebotomy, dietician etc). Even though everyone was clearly very busy, they took time to explain procedures, make regular checks, investigate concerns and offer a bit of support and kindness during difficult moments. Lovely, skilled staff doing a really good job.
