We are sorry to hear that you received a parking ticket during your visit to our hospital. As a Trust we have an obligation to ensure the safe and continued operation of the hospital. As a consequence of this there are areas around the hospital where we cannot allow parking. However, if you do arrive at the hospital in the advance stages of labour, you are advised to use the drop off point at the front of the maternity entrance. This, and other useful information, can be found in our patient advice booklet, ‘Your maternity guide’ which we endeavour to give to all mums-to-be during their first appointments. We are committed to making your pregnancy a positive and fulfilling experience.

We do offer a concessionary parking scheme to patients who attend regular oncology and renal clinics for on-going treatment and to parents of babies and children up to the age of 16 who are inpatients over an extended period. In addition, we offer value cards for visitors to the site which offers seven days unlimited car parking for a one off payment.
