I accompanied an elderly friend to an out patients appointment. Although delayed by the hospital-provided transport, the staff were polite & courteous & were able to get my friend in to the doctor with little further delay. After her consultation, which my friend was very satisfied with, a HCA arranged transport home & checked several times that we were being dealt with. I was very impressed by the whole process & my friend was reassured, despite needing further tests to be arranged.
