I got a letter to give to my gp regarding seeing the ophthalmology clinic off my optitions due to preasure behind the eyes, pain in eyes and head and a scar behind my right eye. When I gave this letter to my gp they sent me stright to AnE as he couldn't get hold of the ophthalmology clinic. At AnE the ophthalmology doctor refused to see me twice when asked by the AnE doctors saying it was my head that was causing the problems. After a c.t scan that showed nothing wrong I was discharged. My gp then faxed a refural I got an appointment about a week and a half later. After the doctor at the eye clinic checked the presure in my eyes they said there was nothing wrong with them and it's my head and also said I don't have a scar when I have seen it at two optitions and it takes over half the back of my eye so not easy to miss. I do not feel the eye doctor checked my eyes correctly and it was a waste of time. A scar as big as I have isn't easy to miss.
"waste of time."
