What I liked

I gave birth to my first child in Solihul maternity unit. I felt well cared for from the very beginning. I received a lot of help and support from all of the staff - I'm especially grateful for all the advices I've received about breastfeeding as I had some problems at the beginning. What was also a great thing was the fact that all the nurses and midwives had time to chat with me a little bit about the baby and my life in general in spite of being busy with their normal work. That made me feel that I'm not just another patient to them but a human and woman as well.
