"Every single person was brilliant"

About: East Anglia The Queen Elizabeth Hospital / General medicine

(as the patient),

I was admitted to MAU last night with terrible head pains, sickness, dizziness. I was terrified, as were my husband and children.

Every single professional we encountered was brilliant. Friendly, professional, hard working, kind, from the GP who admitted me to the porters, the radiographers, CT scan chap, tea lady, nurses, doctors, consultants, all wonderful.

They went above and beyond to ensure my experience was a positive one and I hope they all get the recognition they deserve.

My wonderful GP was Chris McKenzie, and I was on MAU at King's Lynn QE hospital.

Thanks to them all.

Thank you for posting your comments about your recent experience in our Medical Assessment Unit (MAU). It is very reassuring to hear that you had such good care whilst on the Unit from all members of the staff and that this enabled you to have a positive experience during your time in hospital despite your obvious worries about your health. I will ensure your comments are fed back to the staff on the Unit as I know that they will be pleased to be appreciated. I do hope that you have fully recovered from the unpleasant symptoms that brought you to hospital.
