I visited at about 1730 on Sunday 19th because I was concerned at a rather alarming spread of bruising on my right arm, apparently emanating from a swelling which had been examined at my GP's surgery on the previous Thursday. I had been told to attend for a further examination "If it spread". The appearance on Sunday morning of a large area of bruising on the underside of my arm opposite to the swelling therefore seemed something to be worth investigation. Although estimated waiting time was one hour, I was seen within 30 minutes, by a nurse practitioner, who quickly put my mind at rest - the bruising was apparently a normal reaction, and was fully explained to me. The consultation was thorough, efficient and sympathetically conducted. My wife (who accompanied me) and I were impressed with the service.
