Accesible cafe for tired people coming in or going out.
What could be improved
Seating arrangements for people like me with massive spinal problems and pain. 15 minutes in those waiting area chairs and I am in BIG trouble. This was further compounded by my 10AM appointment being delayed by 1.5 hours. I had to leave the hospital without seeing the Pain Team as I was hungry, in pain, tired, aggressive and in urgent need of my medication. Not the best condition to see the Doctor who probably had abuse from other delayed but luckier patients.
Anything else?
How could a 10AM appointment get so seriously delayed? It was not until I questioned a nurse after waiting for half an hour that they announced a delay of 45 minutes in waiting times. This then got stretched to a full hour some 15 minutes later. Also, PLEASE ask the staff to SHOUT peoples names.
