"Rude staff"

About: Leicester Royal Infirmary

I recently had an appointment at this department. I have been to several hospital appointments in various departments over the past year due to my ill health and I have to say this is the worst run department I have encountered. I was kept waiting for 2 hours past my appointment time and no explanation was given. Patients who had appointments after me were going in ahead of me which I found very frustrating. When I eventually asked a nurse why this was happening I was met with rudeness, which I found very upsetting. I have never experienced anything like this when visiting other departments. I am self employed and lost valuable custom because of this delay and I do appreciate clinics are busy places and delays do happen, but two hours without an explanation I find unacceptable. English is not my first language (this review is being written for me) and feel the staff should of been more sympathetic to my needs and at least explain why the delay was and why people were going in ahead of me instead of being met with rudeness. This experience was very upsetting for me on top of the illness I have been battling with over the past year and I never want to visit this department ever again.
