Carol McLean is a paragon of good practice that enables patients on dialysis live their lives to the full extent possible.
My daughter was very fortunate to have her dialysis at Gart Navel for ten years because of the flexibility and support she received from Carol McLean and her staff. She was diagnosed with kidney failure when she was 16 years old and with the encouragement, support and flexibility available she was able to complete her Highers, an HNC and eventually achieve a BA(Hons).
After her transplant failed, my daughter restarted dialysis at the New Victoria and felt lucky that she was given a place on nightshift once more.
