"Care my father recieved"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus

(as a relative),

My father was admitted on B47 of the Nottingham Queens Medical Centre twice in the last three months and on both occasions received what I perceive to be 'gold standard' care for both his mental health (dementia) and his physical needs.

Hi Typhoo. Thanks for the feedback. It’s great to know that you felt your father was in such safe hands and that care was ‘gold standard’. I’ll share your lovely comments with our team on Ward B47.

In light of your father’s experience, you might wish to consider nominating a member of staff from the ward or a whole staff team for our staff awards - called NUHonours (your nomination would fall under the Acute Medicine category). If you wish to, you can put forward a nomination via our website: http://www.nuh.nhs.uk/nuhonours/

Kind regards,

Nicola King.

Ward manager, B47.
