"Receiving treatment at Ninewells A&E for a collapsed lung"

After experiencing chest pains, I went to the Accident and Emergency department at Ninewells Dundee.

The chest pain was diagnosed as a small pneumothorax and I was recommended for further treatment at an Outpatient clinic. The diagnosis and treatment I received at Ninewells A&E was speedily administered, and I was impressed by how fast I was seen, diagnosed, and treated.

This is compared to my previous experiences in different A&E departments for similar ailments - several years prior to this small pneumothroax on my right side I had endured three larger pneumothoraces on my left side, and these were treated at the new Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.
