"Compliments not complaints."

About: Frimley Park Hospital (Frimley)

I was recently in FPH for severe stomach pains, I was told by my GP to report to the Surgical assessment unit where I would be expected. When I arrived I thought to myself, this is a busy place this will take for ever. I watched nursing and reception staff working continuously helping patients get around this very busy ward. I was expected, as soon as I filled in my paperwork the process started. I had to report to various staff while I was being assessed, not once did I here a member of staff complain although they seemed to be multi-tasking all the time. Eventually after tests I was admitted for the night. Once in the ward I was greeted and made to settle down by some excellent nursing staff. My stay for the 2 days I was in was in my view outstanding. Excellent staff from the consultant right down to the tea and breakfast staff. I do have to go back later in the year for an operation and if the stay is anything like this one then I look forward to it. Frimley Park Hospital you done me proud. Thank you.

Dear Norman Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. It is very reassuring to know that even when the department was under pressure, colleagues remained calm and provided you with a high standard of care. Thank you also for your words of appreciation for all staff who looked after you. They will be very encouraged to read your comments.
