"Dislocated little finger"

About: Wharfedale Hospital

I fell down in my drive on Saturday morning and dislocated my little finger very painfully. I rang the surgery which could not help but suggested I contact Otley. This I did and they told me to come down. I managed to drive myself there with my little finger sticking out at right angles and registered at the minor injuries desk. Over the next hour I was x-rayed before and after my little finger was put back. I cannot speak highly enough of the treatment I received. Everyone was very helpful and very kind. The sister in particular was excellent and did their best to make sure I had as little pain as possible. This hospital is invaluable and its services are excellent. Please pass on my comments to those on duty on Saturday, 11th July. Sylvia Halliday

Dear Sylvia Halliday

Thank you for taking the time to write to us regarding your recent experience, it was very uplifting and heartwarming to read your post.

I was sorry to read of your accident and I hope you are now doing well; I have passed your kind words onto the Local Care Direct who manage the minor injuries unit at Wharfedale and have asked that they be shared with all staff so that they too can be aware of the great work that they are doing.

With kind regards

Rosie
