"Professionalism at day procedure centre"

About: Solihull Hospital / General surgery

(as the patient),

I've had a couple of operations at Solihull hospital over the last few years and both times I've enjoyed the professionalism, friendliness, cleanliness and sheer thoroughness of the staff.

We all read about the bad stories but never the good ones. I was in at 0800, operated on at 1030 and out by 1400 without any problems. So I'd like to thank everyone at Solihull for making, what is a nervy time, into a very relaxing experience.

Dear Ozric

Thank you very much for your feedback regarding Day Surgery Unit at Solihull Hospital.

It is lovely to read that you have found the staff to always be professional, efficient and friendly, and the standard of cleanliness to be high on this occasion and on previous visits.

Patient feedback is very important to us and I am most appreciative that you have taken the time to post your comments.

I will forward your post to Rose Parker Ward Manager for Day Procedures Unit, and to Deborah Jones Matron, but would also like to be able to forward your feedback to your surgeon and his team. To that end, can I please ask you to contact me so that I can obtain some more information from you? It would be really helpful.

I can be contacted by telephone on 0121 424 0808 or by email:

marie.helebert@heartofengland.nhs.uk

I look forward to hearing from you at your convenience.

Kind regards

Marie Helebert
