"Appointment booking or lack of with unhelpful..."

About: Wycombe Hospital

Saw consultant in April told a lumber puncture and evoked potentials tests to be booked and then book a follow up 6-8 weeks for results and care plan with the same consultant. Tests booked in at end of June, result apptmt booked for mid July. Appointment cancelled 9 days ago told another one would be received in the post - not arrived yet. Been speaking to consultants PA in Oxford who is fantastic, she gave me PA number in H/W been ringing last 3 days just rings and rings, you get cut off. Called the outpatients booking who was far from compassionate or caring and refused to speak to me to re book as they had had 1 mix up complaint and my husband was to call in his break. I did not want confidential information - just to re book my husband in as it looks like his appointment has been overlooked by them and he has been waiting 13 weeks for confirmation of an initial diagnosis of primary progressive multiple sclerosis and a care plan. Before you suggest it I shall be contacting PLS and CQC - this slow and unhelpful service is having such an impact on people's lives.
