I was recently admitted with fractured ribs and a haemothorax following a cycle accident and underwent an urgent thoracic operation. As well as the excellent medical care I received, I was truly impressed with the A6 CICU nursing team led by a Modern Matron. The unit was very well run with highly professional nursing staff who took time to give great care and compassion and I felt extremely well looked after. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this unit to friends or family should they need the services of CICU. The ward was also very clean and the 'housekeeping' staff worked hard and were friendly. Thank you all so much for helping back on the road to recovery.
