"Very good MRI scan experience, but where are the..."

About: King's College Hospital (Denmark Hill)

I had an MRI scan of my brain and upper spine at King's. Although it was an unpleasant experience to go through - very claustrophobic and loud - the members of staff I encountered were very kind and professional and put me completely at my ease. The room with the MRI scanner was spotlessly clean. However, having been told I'd receive the results in writing within 2 weeks, I am still waiting for these 3 and a half weeks later. I've rung a couple of times but the phone hasn't been answered - this is very frustrating and worrying.

Please accept my apologies for not responding to your feedback in a timely way.

I am very glad to hear that the staff who looked after you when you had your MRI scan were kind and caring and that the environment was clean.

However, I am very sorry to hear about the delays in receiving the results of your scan.

I hope that by now, you have received your results and can only apologise again for the delays.

If you every experience this difficulty again, please also contact our PALS service who are there to help with these sorts of issues.
