My waters broke 2 days before I realised and as a result I was asked to come in to be induced. Before this could happen, baby stopped moving so we went in early. We were due organise being induced at 8am that day, so at 6am when we established baby was ok we were asked to stay there in the maternity triage until 8... 8 came, 9 came, no one so much as checked on us. My partner went and found a midwife who did a sweep and said I was 3cm dialated. That was the last anyone checked how dialated I was until 10pm. When we went to ask what was happening we found our midwife checking the Internet for houses. The midwife still didn't check me. At 10 pm I still had not received the paracetamol I requested at 3pm but they did check me. I was still 3cm, my labour hadnt progressed but no one had realised. I asked for gas and air and was told I could not have any but did get my paracetamol. We were told they were too busy for my induction despite my waters being broken over 48 hours ago. At 3:30am I demanded to be seen and it turned out I was 5cm and the baby had pooed, miraculously at this point I was allowed pain relief but by now I knew there was something wrong. I requested an epidural which I did not get until my emergency c section at 7am- when I was in agony due to complications. The after care was just as bad and now I have an infection. Do not come here.
