"Hip Hip Hooray"

About: Arrowe Park Hospital

Attended SEAL unit yesterday to have cortisone injection into my hip with fluoroscopy. Bit uncomfortable as needle went in but cannot thank the team, the surgeon, nurses and porter who were kind, courteous, friendly and professional. Well done all, the NHS takes a battering in the media but it is hardworking people like you who just want to make us better the keeps the NHS great. Thanks. Hip hip hooray!!

Thank you very much for your kind comments. We really appreciate you taking the time to provide this positive feedback. We are proud of the care and service provided by our staff and the impact that their approach had for you. Our staff work hard to try to ensure that a patient’s experience whilst at the hospital is as pleasant and comfortable as possible, and they are always considerably heartened and motivated on learning how much their efforts have been appreciated. We have passed your kind sentiments to staff in our SEAL Unit / Orthopaedic Department. If we can be of further assistance in any way, please do not hesitate to contact the Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) on freephone 0800 432 0251, email wih-tr.pals@nhs.net or in writing to PALS, Arrowe Park Hospital, Arrowe Park Road, Upton, Wirral, CH49 5PE.
