I was advised to go to WR for an abscess to be drained after my doctor rang them Friday morning at 8. 30am, I was being admitted to the ward by 9am. Everyone was wonderful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble and I was released home just gone midday, suffering no pain in the process. Every step of the way I knew what was being done to me. Because it was then a weekend they agreed they would dress my wound as my doctors would be closed. A first class service.
Monday I fainted, twice, paramedics were called and then an ambulance because my blood pressure was dangerously low. I was admitted to A&E and during the three hours I was there nothing was too much trouble, my blood pressure permanently monitored along with doing ECGS.
I have nothing but praise for all the staff of Worcester Royal, the paramedics and ambulance staff. Nothing was too much trouble and the service I received could not have been bettered
