Yesterday (13th July 2015) I had an outpatient appointment, I arrived on time and self checked-in using the hospital's fantastic IT system. I was advised to sit in an assigned area, which of course I did. I was then promptly advised that the consultant was unwell (unfortunately) and my appointment would therefore have to be cancelled. I was taken to meet up with staff to reassign the booking. Their service and apologies about the situation was superb and I would like to take this opportunity to thank them for all their help with regards the situation. I look forward to re-visiting Charing Cross once the appointment can be reassigned.
