"Amazing midwives"

About: Watford General Hospital

Me and my wife had our first baby at Watford General's Alexandra birthing centre. My wife was a bit frustrated that we were sent back home twice from triage but once we were given the all clear to move on to the ABC.... Everything went like clockwork from there. The midwives were helpful and reassuring (a must for first time parents-to-be). I can't thank the midwives at the ABC enough for their help. We were then moved on to Katherine ward as my wife had a bit of trouble breastfeeding. The service there was great too, but could not top the ABC. I can't recommend the Alexandra birthing centre enough, if you're having a natural birth.
