I took my daughter to the children's a & e following GP recommendation and fully expected to be there for 4 hours or more. I am delighted that our total visit from entering the car park to leaving the car park was less than 1 hour. My daughter was seen quickly by the doctor, had an x-ray and was treated following the review of the x-ray. The doctor took the time to explain the fracture and possible complications in the future to my daughter who is 9, the doctor was even kind enough to give her a copy of the x-ray to show her friends. I am just sorry I have forgotten the doctors name as they were very nice and reassured me that the actions I had taken were the right ones. I have always had exceptional experiences with the royal derby hospital and this visit was no different.
